Recycling and Sustainable Production
Plastic is a valuable material. Our job is to keep it useful for as long as possible and waste as little of it as we can.
Reprocessing our own scrap
Offcuts, trims and rejected pieces from production are collected, cleaned and reground so they can go back into suitable products instead of becoming waste.
Recycled content where it fits
Non-food products such as garbage bags, construction sheets and general-purpose films can use recycled material. Recycled content is not used in food-contact products unless it is approved for that use.
Recyclable materials by design
We favour single-material products in PP, HDPE, PET and PE, the plastics recyclers accept most readily, and we avoid unnecessary mixed-material construction.
Using less material
Right-sizing thickness and dimensions to the real job saves resin, energy and cost without hurting performance.
Efficient, cleaner production
We work to cut energy use, rejects and packaging waste in our factory, and to keep the site tidy and safe.
Guidance for customers
We advise on the right material and on correct disposal, including that PLA needs industrial composting and that PS and PVC have limited recycling.
Know your plastics
| Code | Material | Typical use | Recycling |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | PET | Cups, bottles, trays | Widely recyclable |
| 2 | HDPE | Containers, tubs | Widely recyclable |
| 3 | PVC | Cling film, some pipes | Limited recycling |
| 4 | LDPE | Sheets, films, bags | Recyclable where collected |
| 5 | PP | Containers, cups, cutlery | Increasingly recyclable |
| 6 | PS / EPS | Takeaway boxes, cups | Limited recycling |
| 7 | PLA / other | Plant-based cutlery | Industrial composting only |

Common questions
Do you use recycled plastic?
Where the product allows. Non-food items such as garbage bags and construction sheets can use recycled content. Food-contact products use food-grade material.
What happens to scrap from your production?
It is collected and reprocessed, then reused in suitable products rather than discarded.
Which of your plastics are recyclable?
PET, HDPE, PE and PP products are the most widely recyclable. PS, EPS and PVC are harder to recycle, so we suggest alternatives where they suit your use.
Is PLA the same as biodegradable plastic?
No. PLA is plant-based but generally needs industrial composting. It will not break down quickly in landfill or in the open.
